1. A completed and signed visa application form.
You may also download a fillable application form with instructions for a tourist visa HERE or for a business visa HERE.
2. The original passport with at least 1 blank visa page.
3. 1 recent professional passport size photo of the applicant.
4. HIV (blood) test certificate when applying for
a 6 or 12 month visa or any duration work visa.
5. Citizens of countries other than the USA are required to submit a copy of the US work visa or
"Green Card", and may be required to pay
additional Consular fees. Please see the list of
countries here. Non-US citizens please contact Red Star for more information.
6. A money
order or check payable to Red Star Travel or a filled out credit card authorization form.

Russian Visa Registration Information:
By Russian law you
are required to register your visa within 72 hours
of arrival to Russia. When you're staying at a hotel,
the reception clerk will register your visa automatically
upon check in. In case you are not staying at a
hotel, your Russian host will need to go with you to a local Post Office and submit a Notice of Arrival form on your behalf with their name and address as the receiving party (the form has to be filled out in Russian). The form is mailed to a local branch of the Federal Migration Service (post offices have all instructions and addresses). You will need to include copies of your passport, Russian visa and Migration Card with the form when you mail it. Immediately after you leave Russia (or the city you registered in), your host will need to mail in a Notice of Departure to the FMS with your departure date specified.
We strongly recommend to follow visa registration
requirements to avoid any possible complications upon departure from Russia.

regular mail unless otherwise requested by applicant.
You may include a prepaid express envelope with
your visa documents for return mail. You may also
include an additional $25 ($38 to AK or HI) with your visa processing
fee and we’ll send your visa and passport by
Federal Express (overnight delivery).
Requirements and fees related to the processing of visas
are subject to change, including, but not limited to, consular fees, application forms and
documentation required for visa issuance, which are subject to change without notice.
Exact visa processing time depends on workload of the Consulate. Visa processing fees are
non-refundable. Visas and passports are normally sent by U.S. Mail or Express package
services (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) and are subject to the conditions set by these Companies
for Shipment. Red Star Travel will not be responsible for any loss or delays incurred for
shipments consigned to these delivery services. Documents which are submitted in the
manner different from the above will not be accepted. After visa is received please check
it and if you discover any mistake return it to us for correction. Red Star Travel and the
Consulate General will not be responsible for the mistakes which are not brought to its
attention before departure from the USA. If you need more information or have questions
