Visa requirements

1. A completed and signed visa application form.
2. The original passport
3. 1 passport size photo of the applicant.
4. HIV (blood) test certificate when applying for a 6 or 12 month visa.
5. Citizens of countries other than the USA are required to submit a copy of the US visa or "Green Card", and may be required to pay additional Consular fees. Please see the list of countries here.
6. A money order or check payable to Red Star Travel.

* Add $ 50 for a tourist visa support (invitation letter).

* Add $ 65 for a double entry visa.

* Visa support (invitation letter) for tourist visa will be provided free of charge to clients who purchase travel services in Russia or airline tickets on a Russian airline through Red Star Travel for a minimum of $500, or prepay hotel accommodations through Red Star Travel for the whole stay in Russia.

Russian Visa Registration Information:

By Russian law you are required to register your visa within 72 hours of arrival to Russia. When you're staying at a hotel, the reception clerk will register your visa automatically upon check in. In case you are not staying at a hotel, the registration of your visa should be done through a local OVIR office (Visas and Registration Office) or by mail through a local Post Office.

We strongly recommend to follow visa registration requirement to avoid any possible complications upon departure from Russia.

NOTE: All processed visas and passports will be sent by US Postal Service regular mail unless otherwise requested by applicant. You may include a prepaid express envelope with your visa documents for return mail. You may also include an additional $25 ($35 to AK or HI) with your visa processing fee and we’ll send your visa and passport by Federal Express (overnight delivery).

Requirements and fees related to the processing of visas are subject to change, including, but not limited to, consular fees, application forms and documentation required for visa issuance, which are subject to change without notice. Exact visa processing time depends on workload of the Consulate. Visa processing fees are non-refundable. Visas and passports are normally sent by U.S. Mail or Express package services (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) and are subject to the conditions set by these Companies for Shipment. Red Star Travel will not be responsible for any loss or delays incurred for shipments consigned to these delivery services. Documents which are submitted in the manner different from the above will not be accepted. After visa is received please check it and if you discover any mistake return it to us for correction. Red Star Travel and the Consulate General will not be responsible for the mistakes which are not brought to its attention before departure from the USA.
