My Mongolia trip was fabulous!  It was mind boggling and delightful from the getgo.  My guide from UB and around the ger camps for 8 days was like fate bringing her into my life.... Anyway, I wanted to send you feedback that your Mongolia tour is probably the best one in Mongolia.  It isn't just my own Jack Weatherford sneaker sniffing experience to make me say this, but also that they went out of their way to get me vegetarian food - something completely foreign to them - they went out of their way to show me things I'm interested in that weren't necessarily on the itinerary.  It was just marvelous...

I just wanted to thank you and let you know that my daughter and I had a wonderful time in Moscow. Everything worked out perfectly and I want to thank you very, very much for arranging this for us!  The hotel was exactly what we needed, and the pickup to and from the airport was great too. Thanks to Irena as well, she is a very kind and helpful person, and we felt very comfortable with her. We will definately recommend your service to anyone! My daughter is now in college in Amsterdam with Russian as her major and loving it! Thank you again for your service!

I have returned from my trip to Russia and I simply want to thank you for helping with all the arrangements that made this trip possible. It was my first time going to Russia and I am thoroughly impressed. I am very satisfied with the services provided by the Intourist Hotel in Khabarovsk and the Meridian Hotel in Komsomolsk. The staff at both hotels were both very courteous and professional. The Intourist provided a very cozy environment and the Meridian a very modern one. Although the temperatures did drop to -35 Celsius while I was there, I did manage to get out and do some sightseeing. To sum this all up, it was one of the best experiences of my life and I simply want to thank you for all your help. Thank you,

(Re: full-day tour of Vladimir and Suzdal) ...the tour went very well.  The guide and driver were excellent.  Our friends and we had a memorable time.  Our only regret was that we coud not afford the time (and money) to take two days and spread out the driving.

I just wanted to thank you for all the arrangements you made for our trip to Russia. The tours were very informative. The hotel Ukraina in Moscow was huge and we had a large room with a lovely view... The hotel Moskva in St. Petersburg is in a very good location, the rooms weren't as large as the Ukraina, but were clean and comfortable. The trains were comfortable and our compartments were clean...Thank you for helping us to have a wonderful vacation.

Dear Red Star Travel,
Thank you for the wonderful time we had in Russia!!! I know I was a pain ... with all my special requests, but you guys did a great job putting together this trip for us. All your staff in Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Irkutsk and Ulan-Bator were just great, the hotels were fine. The best memory was of course lake Baikal... Katie now has a beautiful collection of siberian souvenirs... and Jake (our youngest) talks about those caves on Olkhon (spelling?) island all the time... We had a chance to ride a camel in Mongolia (what an experience!) and taste mare’s milk (ewwh!)... I will send you some pictures in a couple of days. Now we are thinking of going to the Caucasus (Georgia) sometime next summer...can you arrange for that too? Thank you so much!

I write to say that I am extremely impressed by the professional standards and personal qualities of one of your employees - Tanya Beliakova - who has been helping me arrange a visit to Kyzyl...so that I can take part in a conference there...Ms. Beliakova has been a model of courtesy, helpfulness, patience and tact. She quickly grasped the problems I faced when I didn’t know how to I was going to travel on the final leg of my trip...In the end, she gave me complete information so that I could make all arrangements that it is possible to make fairly readily from here, which I have done so through her.

To whom it may concern:
I would like to write a letter to express my satisfaction with Red Star Travel Agency. Recently I visited Russia and I was given wrong information from Travel Agencies in my community. They informed me that I would need a written invitation from the people I was visiting in Russia. It was also supposed to be the original letter, not a copy! I needed a [visa] quickly and I was told from my local post office and travel agency that it will in fact take at least a few weeks, unless I go to Chicago and wait in line for a long time. This was also incorrect information. I would call Lorrie Shamarin, Marketing Director, of Red Star Travel and she would explain that this information is truly not correct. She went on to explain that Red Star would prepare the invitation for me and that I could indeed get a [visa] within 24 hours. She was correct on both accounts. I was also told from local travel agencies that I could not trust travel agencies from the Internet. At this point I did not know who to believe! I made arrangements with Red Star to have a guide service personnel pick me up at the airport and to drive me safely to another airport I needed to get to. The guide service person took excellent care of me. In fact, when I arrived in Moscow there was supposed to be a friend who was also waiting for me, but my friend was not there. I was quite concerned, and the lovely lady who was my service guide made phone calls to see what had happened and tried leaving a message at the airport as to where I could be found. They did succeed in tracking down my friend. My service guide, at home, her home, during her own time phoned my friend and talked more details of what had happened. She went far beyond the call of duty.
I would highly recommend to anyone to choose Red Star Travel as their travel agency. There were many times when I phoned Lorrie Shamarin asking her questions and sharing with her my frustrations, and she was always so pleasant to talk to!! She was very patient with me!
