December 19, 2007 NEW VISA APPLICATION FORM AND FEES Please note that a new visa application form has been introduced. Previous application and supplementary questionnaire will not be accepted. The Russian Consulate has introduced new processing times and visa fees. The longest processing for a tourist visa is 5 business days now instead of 10 days as it used to be. However, the prices went up for most processing types. Please check the new rates on our website in the Visa Services section or contact us to request a new price list to be sent to you. December 19, 2007 ST. PETERSBURG HOTELS UPDATE As you may know, due to the limited hotel choices, most hotels in St. Petersburg are sold out for the most part of the Summer. For the summer of 2008, most hotels in St. Petersburg are implementing new cancellation policies which are intended to protect the hotels from lost profits. The hotels require full prepayment at the time of reservation or shortly thereafter for all rooms booked for summer 2008 dates, and are setting a deadline (for most it is a date in early May), after which all reservations become non-refundable. Please make sure you understand the hotel`s cancellation policy before making a reservation for summer dates.
